The Story
Bill Folds is the owner & MD of Excelsior Cybersuitor Introductions.
He runs the business as a dating agency from his home at Bliss House, Lovers Lane, Heartford.
You have all been invited to the annual party that he holds to celebrate the success of many couples that he has introduced.
On the guest list is Billy Ester, the owner of 'P R to the Stars' & his wife Polly.
Billy's business is going through a bad patch & cash flow is a problem. In addition his wife Polly likes to be seen with the stars on his books & she is a constant embarrassment to him with her penchant for younger men.
Things seemed to start going wrong from the moment they were introduced to each other by Bill.
Hugh Next, a local dentist is also on the guest list together with Gail Force.
Hugh Next met his wife through the agency but it was not a good match & they are now divorced.
Gail is hopeful of marrying a member of the aristocracy that she met through the agency but her past may well be catcing up with her.
All in all we have a recipe for murder & indeed that is what happens.
Towards the end of Bill's welcoming speech a death occurs.
The local police are called in to investigate this crime & with your assistance there will be a result.
The murderer will be caught.
