Sheffield Murder Mystery

Our South Yorkshire Murder Mystery location is in Sheffield. Sheffield was one of the major cities of the Industrial Revolution, and there are many houses which were once owned by the business magnates of the time. One such house is Whirlowbrook Hall, our local venue. The house was built by Percy Fawcett, a local industrial businessman. It was then purchased by another leading industrialist, Sir Walter Benton-Jones. The grounds became open to the public in 1951 and the house is now Sheffield's premier wedding venue.

The house is ideal for a Murder Mystery set in the 1920s or 1940s. Our first event will be The Reading of The Will and we have plans for further events including Sherlock Holmes and Poirot themes and a bespoke storyline based on the industrail heritage of Sheffield.
