Whirlowbrook Hall is an Edwardian County House hidden away on Eccleshall Road in Sheffield. It is not a hotel but operates as a wedding and event venue which is available for private hire. It is the perfect setting for a Murder Mystery with exactly the right atmosphere for our scripts set in the 1920s and 1940s.
Friday 18th October - The Reading of The Will set in the 1920s. Lord Quentin Crump is dead and his dyfunctional family have gathered to find out what is in his will for them. His second wife used to be his housekeeper, and her lonely marriage has sent her to seek comfort in the drinks cupboard. However, having become lady of the manor she has also become accustomed to her lifestyle and does not want to return to drinking the cooking sherry.
His son Roland has a penchant for fast women and slow horses, and needs the money to settle certain commitments. His brother, as second son, was denied the house that he grew up in and the title and is not so much carrying a chip on his shoulder as the whole bag of potatoes. They all want to get their dues, whatever the cost!
Join us for a three course meal and Murder at this unique venue.
