The Fox and Pelican, Hindhead

The Fox & Pelican in Hindhead (actually located in Grayshott, close to Hindhead) is a charming country pub and restaurant situated just off the A3, making it a good location if you are based in London. It offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, set amidst the rolling Surrey countryside and close to local walking routes such as Waggoners Wells and the Devil’s Punch Bowl. The pub prides itself on serving classic British fare made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with a particular highlight being their Sunday roast. It also has a solid offering of real ales and drinks, and hosts regular social events such as quiz nights, musical bingo and murder mysteries. In terms of accessibility, the interior is mostly level once inside, with a disabled-accessible WC.
